Don't miss the early entry deadline on Thursday, July 12th! Entries may be postmarked 7/12/07 or, even better, stop by the docks at Fisherman's Wharf Marina on July 12th and enjoy the VB Invitational Marlin Tournament's pre-Registration Luau. Everyone is welcome! Remember, entries that make it by the Early Bird deadline are eligible for the drawing for a 2008 free entry—a $1,500 value!

Charity Auction Preview
 |
As many of you know, the VBBT is all about giving back. Every year our sponsors and friends donate items for the Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament Charity Auction. This year Charles Barker Lexus is once again offering up a Lexus GX-470. This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on this luxury vehicle and make a huge difference for the Boys & Girls Clubs.
In addition, Steve Goione donates his original tournament artwork—to be unveiled soon! Release Marine sends a state-of-the-art fighting chair, Long Jewelers donates an array of gorgeous jewelry and John Townsend donates an exquisite sculpture!
All this along with many tickets to both local & national sporting events and a year of culinary bliss compliments of At Your Service Restaurants—including the Lucky Oyster and Chicks Oyster Bar. These donations and more help us raise much needed funds for our charities, so please remember we simply couldn't do it without the strong support of our generous sponsors and participants. Thank you all!

This Is What We're ALL About
 |
In 2003 a few friends sat down with a single vision. Create a tournament that would showcase our passion, the bounty of Virginia's offshore fishing grounds, and shower our closest friends and fiercest competitors with the region's finest southern hospitality then give it all away—both to the tournament winners and the local community.
The Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament was born of the best of Virginia's sporting traditions and our commitment to charitable endeavors. Since the first event in 2004, the VBBT has donated over $240,000 to the local Boys & Girls Clubs, the Virginia Beach Sheriff's D.A.R.E. Program, the Children's Performance Workshops, the Recreational Fishing Alliance and The Billfish Foundation.
Headquartered on Rudee Inlet overlooking Virginia Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, the VBBT raises a tent every August and invites the best of our sportfishing community to join in the fun. Please check us out and consider becoming a part of our vision.
