One of our most important missions is to give something back to the community, so when the Wine, Women & Fishing Tournament approached us about joining forces, we thought it was a perfect match.
The WWF's mission (in addition to hosting a legendary good time) is to raise money for breast cancer research through the Eastern Virginia Medical School. The EVMS Foundation funds critical and cutting edge research into early detection of breast cancer. This is the vision of the EVMS’s George L. Wright Jr. Center for Biomedical Proteomics, and the cause to which the WWF Tournament is devoted.
The Wine part comes from the tournament's affiliation with the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation, which has raised more than two million dollars since its inception in 1991 and is dedicated to helping educate young people in Hampton Roads.
So ladies, gather your fishing buddies and your sense of fun and join the VBBT in welcoming the WWF to the good times!
