Friends for HIS Children Outreach updated July 20, 2008 A few years ago, a group of men in Suffolk gathered with a simple mission—to help their community any way they could. What seemed a lofty goal became a call to action for this small group trying to make a difference in their own backyard. After two years of working together anonymously, the founders formalized the program with a charter and Friends for HIS Children Outreach International was formally created. Since its humble beginnings, countless acts of kindness have been committed in and around Hampton Roads—   • Relief assistance to children, the elderly, and the “at risk”.   • Educational assistance to poor and “at risk” children.   • Medical and educational assistance to the migrant Latino community.   • Training in outreach leadership.   • Assistance to other local organizations with sister missions.   • Provision of essential resources for organizations that assist children and the poor in the Third World, rural and urban settings.
